OnArte è una piattaforma per l’Arte Contemporanea con Videolounge. In sei appuntamenti annuali OnArte presenterà forme artistiche sperimentali nell'ambito delle nuove tendenze. Saranno esposte opere di giovani artisti, artisti affermati e collettivi d’arte provenienti dal Ticino e della scena artistica internazionale. Lo spazio è aperto anche a collaborazioni e cooperazioni con altre iniziative espositive e promuovere lo scambio con le scuole d'arte ticinesi e svizzere.

OnArte ist eine Ausstellungsplattform und Videolounge für Gegenwartskunst. In jährlich sechs Ausstellungen werden Positionen in der bildenden Kunst gezeigt und neue gesellschaftlich intervenierende Formate erprobt. Bespielt wird der Raum mit Werken von sowohl jungen als auch von etablierteren Kunstschaffenden und Künstlerkollektiven aus dem Tessin, aus der Schweiz und aus dem internationalen Umfeld. Insbesondere soll der Ort auch offen stehen für Kooperationen mit anderen Ausstellungsinitiativen und für Kontakte mit den Tessiner und Schweizer Kunst(hoch)schulen.

OnArte is an exhibition platform and video lounge for contemporary art. In six exhibitions per year different positions in the visual arts will be shown and socially intervening new formats will be investigated in. The Focus is on young artist´s work as well as on the work of more established Ticinese, Swiss and international artists and artist collectives. The place is particularly open for collaborations with other exhibition initiatives and for contacts with Ticinese and Swiss art schools.
